In our second edition of RUS Journals, we explore Kyrgyzstan through Anouk Nitsche’s lens, a land where vast horizons meet ancient traditions. Featuring Aselia Toktorova in her homeland, this edit weaves together the raw beauty of the landscape with reflections on identity and the craftsmanship of knitwear as a tactile form of storytelling. As both muse and guide, Aselia bridges the contemporary and the timeless, inviting us to consider the ways in which self, artistry, and place inform one another.
