RUS x Lia Rochas
Paris-based Lia Rochas’ practice is centered around mastering the art of preserving memories, assembling unexpected imagery and creating a tension between whats visible and whats out of sight. Through the technique of collage, Lia has collaborated with RUS with a series of compositions playing with photographs by Daniel Garzee for the Familiar Faces campaign and interpreting RUS universe creating a landscape juxtaposing textures and bodies in layers of interest.

Bio
Lia Rochas-Pàris (Swiss-German and Portuguese, French born Lia Rochas-Pàris living and working in Paris) is a multidisciplinary artist composing with the elements through various mediums: collages, stop-motion, photomontages, videos, photos, texts, installations, editions. As art director, she works on Comme Un roman-Photo, Parties Prises Studio, Shelves Project... The intention of preserving memory serving as a guide, she assembles and explores techniques and materials that allow her to elaborate a personal archeology.
Lia’s work has been the subject of several solo and group exhibitions in Paris, Arles, Amsterdam, Osaka and New York.
